Castle Days

The cold air blows right in the back door. In years past I have woken to snow across the kitchen floor. I read where in castle days tapestries were used to block drafts and so an old electric blanket whose wiring no longer works is put up by the back door during winter and drawn across if wind is from the west or northwest. It helps.
