One of a pair.

Today a pair of swans landed on the pond near our house. The owner of pond has three ducks, two female and one male. But recently a pair of wild ducks have moved in, as have a pair of black birds with long yellow beaks ( think they are called curlews )and now a pair of beautiful white swans !
I hope my noisy kids and frisky dogs dont disturb any of the nesting pairs as we pass the pond on our walks with the dogs.
