A Tree For Joe

Today the photo group visited the remains of the blast furnace in Lithgow.
It was bitterly cold, and raining, but I do have some ok photos.

When I realised, half an hour ago, that it was Joe Tree Day. I stood out in the dark and rain for about 30 seconds to photograph this radiata pine on my neighbour's land.
There are some very ancient ones around these parts which were planted mainly as windbreaks. They are much despised, but I love the majesty of this one, and the beautiful shape of its branches.
Anyway, it's the best I could do at this late stage.

Thanks Joe!
I think:)
