Secret Raiders
I saw a ruffling of leaves on the apple tree and aimed the camera on the spot and took a shot. Captured two of them, but there were more, I’m sure. The apples are not ripe enough for me to eat. The blackbirds make the first holes, (they are very selective and take only the biggest and best), then the waxeyes make the most of them.
We had a nippy morning. The air temperature was down to 2.7ºC, and it’s still summer! A lovely day followed, however.
