Rude Awakening

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I sat down this afternoon to read my book and realised that I was tired so I decided to have a nap. I was in that lovely place in between awake and asleep when I was rudely brought back to reality by Murphy licking my eye.

It reminded me of when The Youngest Mini Princess used to come into our bed for a cuddle in the morning when she was little.

If I ever started to doze off again. I would hear “Open you eyes Mummy,” just as little fingers attempted to prise open an eyelid.

Sleeping is a risky business in the company of mini people and dogs.
