Fin And Flounder

Passing through Broadway Market at London Fields this morning I came to this outdoor stall selling fish. I asked the fishmonger for a photo of him presenting this beautiful specimen. As I did so I was approached by the co-owners of the Fin and Flounder shop just behind them. The carcass of the shop was being refitted, hence the temporary stall outside.

The lady proprietor was wearing a splendid purple fedora hat and I asked her if I might take a picture of her by her stall. But she declined because she hates being photographed. Shame, but you cant win 'em all.

A terrific meeting of the photo society this evening with two presentations by recent MA graduates from the London College of Communication. So creative and stimulating. Really made me think about photography and what you want to achieve with it.
