Frozen flood

The temperature got into double figures today - it must be summer!
The car finally unburied itself so we went out to do a big shop, check on the church and go for a run in the woods in the sunshine.
The legs felt rather heavy and care was needed with the mud, slush, almost ice and bits of tree underfoot but it was good to be out. 
The other main news is the workmen arrived to start re-surfacing our road (delayed from last week) so I'll be able to go out on the bike without having to weave round all the potholes - and there were a lot.
