L vacating the flat. He can resume his work from home. Every bit of boot space was needed and there was stuff on the backseat too.
Traffic Scotland's web site was not accurate and up to date in terms of snow related road closures. We had to turn back twice on impassable sections, reroute accordingly,  adding at least an hour to the outward journey.
