CyclopsJnr was very excited when Nicola Sturgeon announced today that he could go back to school in person next Monday.

School work varied today - some went really well, some led to frustrating. The issue turned out to be that CyclopsJnr had forgotten how to count in tens over the holidays. Once we worked that out it was resolvable. This half term's topic will be castles - welcome news for CyclopsJnr.

In the afternoon MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr biked down to the promenade. It is amazing how quickly the ice/snow has cleared and it was pleasantly spring-like. Down the front CyclopsJnr commented that last time he was there he was with family77. So funny, we turned around and three of them were there! The kids biked along together to the car park then they headed off and we continued our ride.

Cyclops made CyclopsJnr pancakes at tea time as it is Shrove Tuesday.
