Springing up!

Yesterday I checked bulbs I'd planted in pots and found that some were in bud, so I thought I'd move them out of the cold frame onto the patio where I could see them. When I went to do that this morning, I was astonished to find that some of them were in full flower. These dwarf irises are my favourite early bloomers.
