Camberley Bookclub

I had a Zoom meeting with my Camberley Bookclub today. We had read The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. I thought it was a bit of a curate’s egg. A story of a girl who attempts suicide and had a chance to explore choices she had not made in her life. I don’t think I would recommend it.
As it’s Shrove Tuesday today I had pancakes for dinner. We have a very nice new shop in town and I found an interesting recipe... coconut stuffed pancakes. They were tasty, but not as good as the shortbread from the same shop.
