Ich bin ein Berliner!

A little treat from my employer arrived for everybody working today. In a normal year we would have had the afternoon off to celebrate, for me it would have been going to the parade in Ramstein. And what gorgeous weather we would have had!
But not this year. All working and a Berliner is all there is.

A Berliner is a sweet yeast dough roll, fried swimming in oil, and filled with jelly. It's called Kreppel and other names depending where you are from. Berliner here. 500 calories at least.
