Castle ruins

I went for a village walk this morning.  As usual it included a wander around the castle.  My blip is of some of the ruined walls in the castle tower.  I like the different lichens that grow on the stonework.

When I came back I made a batch of soup, there's some left over to go in the freezer for future enjoyment.
