SNOWDROPD TT299.
It’s mild out today so I enjoyed my walk with Tony down the road and back. My blip for today is tiny snowdrops which are in the front of my garden. Thank you hosting Tiny Tuesday Pinkhairedlady.
And thank you so much for the kind comments for my sister on yesterdays blip. When Sue went to the hospital yesterday she had a line attached to her arm and she needs to carry the bottle of chemo in a bag around her neck until Wednesday afternoon when she goes back to the QE to have it taken off. She's got to do this once a fortnight, it’s a worry that she will accidentally pull it out of her arm, by catching it or forgetting to pick up the bag when she stand up or goes to the loo.
When she got home she had all sorts of side effects but nothing terrible,,,,,,pins n needles in her fingers, a numb mouth so talking like she was drunk, runny nose, hot flushes then she fell asleep. The doctor warned her about not touching anything cold because you could get nerve damage in her fingers that might never repair. She can't eat or drink anything cold. And has to wear gloves, scarf, hat and always keep warm. When she turned up the doctor asked where’s her scarf was? He said if you take a breath of cold air your throat will go into spasm and you will feel like you can't breathe so then you need to go indoors and sip warm water. She’s having her CT scan today to see how far the cancer has spread. So it’s on going at the moment. Take care blippers and make the most of every day.
