Hope springs eternal!

Daisy caught up with her best dog pal today, for the first time in too long. Buster lives 2 doors down and is also a Cockapoo with similar colouring, although he has paler eyes and nose.

Was nice to see them running about together while his owner and I shot the breeze. With the snow gone, the shoots of the spring flowers are visible, lending an air of optimism to today (plus the sun’s out and its milder too :)).

Just in time for politicians to provide doom and gloom in lunchtime updates no doubt (call me a cynic!).

Happy pancake day by the way! I had mine for brekkie with lots of butter and a milky coffee on the side.
