Shenzhen: Friday Night Surprise

A colleague's surprise birthday dinner got us out tonight, down to the Shenzhen ex-pat hang-out of Sea World (nothing to do with dolphins or otters, sorry). Lo and behold, a live concert was set up in the square to celebrate the coming of spring (we of course laid claim to having arranged it for said colleague's surprise birthday dinner). A string of bands covering Chinese favourites to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and No Doubt. Another Friday night in old Shenzhen!
