Mono Monday - no friends here

I had a gentle morning run today following my two half marathons at the weekend which felt fine. It was still lovely to get out and flush the legs. I knew my working day was going to be busy and it was, and we arranged the evening meeting we had planned for this evening. The children are on half term now and so they had their first day which went well. The weather was fair and they each had a friend to go out and walk with which at least gave them something to do. At the end of the day my daughter and I went for our flu jabs. This is a little late in the season but we had both struggled to get one as whilst both registered as asthmatic we needed our reviews with the nurse. We managed to get this sorted and finally got offered a vaccine. A trip to the surgery is rather different to how it used to be, with an empty waiting room and chairs spaced out, it looked rather sombre. All done and home for my evening meeting which went well. Evening hugs with my daughter who wasn’t feeling so good after her jab. She found it quite stressful and her arm was aching already. Another day done. Happy Monday x
