Reading

Got to bed very tired before I remembered I’d not taken any photos today.

I suggested this book to my Reading Group because I think she’s such an excellent writer and I had a copy I’ve never read.

However I’m finding it hard going. It’s set in a depressing area with some quietly tragic people and events. Worst of all for me is that the main character was born around the same time as me and there are many disturbing little echoes from my own childhood.
she is such a good writer that she brings it all to life brilliantly.
