Collie dog .....

The snow has had a fright last night ! The yard has mud again . Still a lot of drifts against fences and dykes, but decidedly milder today.
Cattle fed then loaded up the cow and 3 heifers, old collie, terrier and Littlemiss and headed off to the mart at St Boswell’s . Just about remembered the way as it’s been 2 months since I was there last. Still a drop and go policy though. Not the usual buzz of a sale or chance to catch up with folk, so just washed out the trailer and headed back up the road again .
Murray Farmcare in dropping off various things next door then here. The driver made my day when he arrived here after being at wee brother’s by asking if we were twins ! Considering I’m 7 years older than him , either wee brother has had a hard paper round or the driver needs to go to Spec savers ....
This is my old dog out helping feed up tonight, not fully recovered from her turn at Christmas , but a lot less like death than she was .
