Moss.

I am noticing small things since I have been looking closely at Lichens.  As I wandered round the garden at the Lodge I noticed various mosses.  Not seeing anything else interesting I tried a few shots of various mosses.

Having had a look at them I chose this one for today's blip as I liked the background as much as anything else about the shot.  Having had a look at Into the hills' shot for today I am wishing I hadn't.  I really must put some work into my close up/macro photography.

The thin growths from the moss are seta with spore capsules on top.
