In search of The Stickman .
We found a new place to play and it worked well . There was a secluded open space in the woods with plenty of space for a dog and a small boy who are both very attracted to sticks .
The leaf litter beneath the grandiose beech trees was deep and soft and there were plenty of fallen boughs to practice tightrope walking on .
This shot was taken at a rare quiet moment , LBB has been busy all day long .
We are now sitting peacefully , reflecting on our pleasant day . Dave has begun a new jigsaw which is a map of inner London. I shall also have a go after he has finished , i don't usually do jigsaws but I always enjoy a good map to look at and its a good way of building up a mental map of where the main landmarks are in relation to each other . Our youngest son lives in the Capital and we had planned to have lots of long weekends with him after my retirement . We love the buzz of all it all , for short periods that is .
