Wide
A quick flip from the freezing conditions of the past couple of weeks; it felt so warm out that I started to retrain my eyes to look out for any butterflies emerging from their winter furlough. And I had to take off my coat half way round my walk.
The vegetation is probably nearing its most snow flattened and frost-impacted, so I thought I'd take this wide reference image of my favourite butterfly meadow. No flowers yet, but hopefully the annual cycle of regrowth will be more evident in a few weeks.
Today's wildlife highlight: a buzzard soaring overhead.
