Terminal 1

A travelling day today, on route for Aberdeen. Milan Malpensa Airport Terminal 1 looks a little tired. It must have been built quite a while ago, possibly in the 1960s. As it is today it looks a bit dated. It is not a great advert for the centre of Italian design.

The photo here is Heathrow Terminal 5. Essentially a shopping mall with an airport attached. When we were here last year we had time to stop off at the champagne bar. On this occasion we did not have time for champagne, but in any case the champagne bar seems to have disappeared. Just time for a quick beer before boarding.
