JUST ANOTHER COLD SUNNY DAY

Sun is shining....wind is calm....temperature is cool (-9°F. / -22.7°C.). Gotta get out anyway as there's a food shortage after 10 days of really cold weather. The Subaru will start, it always does, but it doesn't like very cold weather. I'll have to let it warm up a bit before heading out. Subies like warm weather...the hotter it is, the better milage it gets. I average 25+ mpg year around. During the summer, on long drives, I'll get 35+mpg. It drops to around 20mpg during the winter.

Best viewed in LARGE. Over that moraine in the background lies Big Elkhart Lake...the 3rd deepest lake in the state. Crystal clear, spring-fed water. Check out an aerial shot:
