Happy Valentine's Day

The man who has happy hour in his driveway? Who went to Michigan to visit a friend who was dying, then quarantined away from family upon his return and got a test and discovered he had Covid? He's recovered. I brought over a bag of chocolates. I thought he could probably taste by now. He can. He had lost taste for six days. 

Sam was better for most of the day and we even ran around the living room playing tonight. There were moments today when he was not ok. Per my neighbor's suggestion, based on how she treated her dog when he had nearly identical symptoms, I give him incredibly small doses of CBD in coconut oil and then he walks better. <!!!!> 

The llama is a Valentine's Day card for Karen. Her favorite toy as a child was a llama and she loves pop-up cards.

This morning we walked to the street. The way to the right was completely iced over. The way to the left was completely iced over - but at least with texture??? We went to the left and I did not fall. I wore my Arctic Grip shoes (these are so great), leveled my pelvis (ChiWalking), tried to relax and breathe with my whole diaphragm (ChiWalking), kept my arms to my side (penguin walk), and took tiny little steps (penguin walk) (thank you again Eyecatching). No falling! For Samuel or me! Also wonderful, we did not lose power. Two more storms are expected this week.
