Roly's Life

By Roly

St Valentine’s Day

MrRoly got up early to watch cricket. I slept on until he arrived with breakfast in bed, a camelia from the garden and a box of chocs! What a romantic he is, we did laugh that I’d bought him an identical box of chocolates in return!!

I headed off to Asda on a top up shop and to give the Venga bus a run out - I may have taken a bit of a detour just to get the engine warmed up, I took the opportunity to refuel as well in case we end up taking Eldest back to Cardiff this week. So difficult to know what to do for the best - I am going a bit overprotective Mum and want her here where I can see her BUT she is missing her routine of study at the libraries and if lockdown is eased, should be with her friends, not us!

Like yesterday, I retreated upstairs to knit and catch up on yesterday’s Casuality amongst other things while the rugby was on, then cooked tea - heart shaped pizzas fur they kids and an eclectic Asda Dine in for 2 dinner complete with melting chocolate dome pudding thing. It looked better than it tasted but scratched an itch - swayed by advertising? Surely not!

The evening was rounded off with the 3rd Star Trek film of this universe. Apparently it’s old Star Trek and Wrath of Kahn next then the one with the whales. I cannot wait...
