Entrecote Café de Paris

One of our favourite dishes in a very favourite restaurant (closed about 15 years ago) was Entrecote Café de París. Yesterday Bb sent me a text from the supermarket 'Google Café de París sauce and see if we're missing many ingredients'. We were only missing a few fresh herbs, so I texted them back. This morning we made the butter mixture (which becomes the sauce) and left it in the fridge till tonight. It had lots of ingredients - see Bb's blip today, but very easy to make. Here's the finished dish. We cheated a bit and bought the chips from our nearby Turkish restaurant.  It was delicious and another restaurant craving ticked off!!  There's a lot of the butter mix left, which we'll freeze for next time....or even to make a pasta dish.
