Veste Otzberg

No Valentine today from me.
I had a hike in the municipality of Otzberg, from Lengfeld to Hering and back. In Hering, on the top of a hill, is Veste Otzberg, visible from far away. At least from our living room. Probably even from Frankfurt, from the skyscrapers, or the mountains (Feldberg) behind Frankfurt.
Veste Otzberg was a fortress or castle, built around 1200 a.C.
Until the recent past you could visit the castle, go to the restaurant, climbed the tower. But it has been closed a couple of years ago. Perhaps too expensive to maintain? Dunno.
