Short needles

I have never before knit on such short needles, but they seem to work! My needles are such a mixed lot I decided to buy some new ones, bamboo. I forgot to check the length. I like the bamboo though and the stitches don't slip off as easily as from the steel needles. So here I am, up to date and modern in my knitting!
