Object of desire

Sadly not one of my hat blocks, but an image in a magazine of one of Philip Treacy’s. I absolutely love the sculpture and the tactile nature of hat blocks.
My uncle based in the Netherlands sent me some a while ago which he had acquired for his ‘retro furniture’ showroom, which he thought were ‘nice bits of trees’ then realised they were hat blocks.

The website is still progressing well, under the aesthetic eye of M. He remarked that my favourite and most photographic creations weren’t ‘very conventional’ . I am still to work out whether that is a problem or not
