Interesting jaws!

I am currently raising several Goat moth larvae, kindly given to me by my friend Sam. In the wild they live in and eat tree wood, but mine are living in wood shavings and munching on apples and beetroot. 
As you can see they have brilliant mandibles obviously for munching on wood, whatever I will not be handling them!!
