Frozen goose

Walked down to the landing stages today - the frozen edges of the lake are now quite a large border. The geese are clearly hungry, as this Greylag goose slid and slipped its way over the ice to see if my camera bag had any food in it (it didn't) 

Shot from a few inches with a 14mm lens - as it flapped it's wings, they brushed the lens.
