The Girls, and the BIrthday Girl

Grace and Elle with Tom, Pendleton, Oregon. It's Tom's birthday, and we're here in Eastern Oregon watching the greatest of all the high school tournaments. Oakland lost today, and Cora is very down. She and I had a long, teary conversation tonight. I feel so bad for her right now, not because they lost...everybody loses, but how she feels about herself. It's all part of growing up. I hope I can coach her some day.

Meantime, back at the ranch, Tom had a good birthday with traveling here, and hanging out with these two mugs. How about Elle's new cowboy boots, purchased today at Hamley's Saddle and Western Goods. Elle is a treat. Both these girls just got out of the pool just before this shot.
