La Despensa

Last night we had a great time at the wine tasting evening at the Pura Cepa Vineteca. We enjoyed a six course dinner with a different wine for each course! Great fun and today was a holiday, so even better.

I took Mum out for a spot of lunch at La Despensa in Cabopino. This lovely restaurant on the marina is fast becoming one of our favourite haunts. The wind was a little chilly, but in the sun it was warm and pleasant. Although very quiet when we arrived, the place was soon buzzing with holiday lunchers.

The storm of the previous night had passed, having thundered and poured all night. Now it's Friday, with bar after school and I expect we'll meet up at Pura Cepa for the usual lower key Friday evening revelry.
