Taking fright and flight

The starlings are so nervy.  I was trying to snap them tucking into their mealworms. I was obviously not stealthy enough as they flew off in a fright.

It was another cold day but it looks like the last one for a bit as the forecast looks much warmer over the coming week.

It was a good day for bunkering down so I got down to the usual crochet and footie watching activities.
