Second Saturday
I had the best time playing music at the gallery. I got to pick seven songs (I chose a selection about love and several ways it can go wrong) and ended my set with the song, “I Went Up To The Mountain” in honor of Black History month. Love in the form of service is a noble love. So, of course I had a blast.
My intent with this music has always been to go to the nursing homes and play the old hymns and favorites that the old folks would remember the words to. Obviously this dreadful pandemic has thwarted my plan. Please make a little wish with me that it won’t be long before I can do just that.
