Dum Dum Dum Dum

This isn't the best photo I've ever done. Neither is it in totally crisp focus. But talk about spooky!

I saw the nest hanging on a wire in the front garden, and there was not a wasp to be seen. Within a split second of me getting the camera close-ish (like a metre away), these three heads came over the top of the nest, and I could see they meant business. No way was I going any closer!

We have to get rid of the nest somehow, so I think the spray will come out after dark - or I might just get a very long stick and give it a whack. I don't want to spray because I know there are native bees in the garden, and the last thing I want is to give them a dose.

There are larvae to be seen.
