My Maternal Grandparents

Both were born in Arkansas in 1889 and came into the Oklahoma territory when it was opened maybe before. Mae had Cherokee ancestry and J.A. had Choctaw ancestry. My family did not register with the Indians because my Great Grandfather Fisher was a land owner and if one registered you were removed from where you lived and moved to the Reservation.
