Awaiting the snow
Bought to 40 lb bags of bird seed to get our feathery visitors through the unusual cold and snow. Round one of feeder filling and emptying complete. An array of blackbirds, cardinals (10+ males and females), the woodpecker pair, finches, and more (see Extra). The robins didn't feed today, but I spotted this one all puffed out in the tree with the cardinals. Didn't spot the others until it was on my computer. We will fill it again tonight as the snow should begin sometime tomorrow into Monday. The grocery shelves are early pandemic empty as prep for the "big storm". Being from Wisconsin (and Michigan), 3-8 inches of snow isn't so big.
Bread baking in the oven as I post and fresh chocolate chip cookies on the counter (though I prefer the dough that is in the refrigerator).
