Iced Evergreen

Much colder today the wind chill made the temperature seem around -6 
I put my Trapper hat on to cover the ears and returned for more Icicles finding this evergreen covered in ice.

We decided there is so little chance of us wanting to  go to the Lake District week we have booked mid April (even if allowed) we have rebooked for mid September... what chance that we get there ? 

India v England 2nd test started and looks like a spinners wicket has been provided. India should win easily.

There was a hilarious moment when the Indian Captain Virat Kholi was bowled by Moeen Ali.  This was so unlikely in Kholi’s mind that he just stood there until it was proved to him what had really happened on the big Screen in the Ground.  Some spectators allowed in this time after none in the first match that England won.

Some commentators are comparing Kholi to W.G. Grace who apparently once refused to take an LBW decision saying to the Umpire “the crowd has come to see me bat not to see you Umpire”.   I’m sure it was just shock and that Kholi is a much nicer man than Grace.

I got a vaccine appointment letter today but will see if I hear from GP first
Met a school friend and his wife they both got vaccine yesterday ( the day I nearly got offered)

I had a reminder letter from the Dentist that I have never returned to have my treatment continued/completed.  I am putting it off through indecision, anxiety and perhaps wanting the Covid vaccine first.  All of a dither.

We went to see my old house. The new owner showed @darkpeakbirder the work in progress as she had never been back since it was mine. The is not much left it is nearly a shell with every room stripped and even bits of ceiling gone. Many issues found but he seems to just take it all in his stride.
I would never have wanted to start but he has the skills, the confidence and other people to call on eventually.
