Another bitterly cold day but I wrapped up and managed a couple of pleasant walks.

The first one, before breakfast started with a scramble up the near vertical valley side of Crawstone Woods where trees cling to the hillside and water was pouring out of the sandstone and forming these spectacular icicles.

Another walk late afternoon - exploring a new path through Acorn Woods. All within a mile from home.
