Drifting
Last night we got a good shock from lightening and a very loud crashing thunder. What a fright we got it was very sudden and loud. Anyway we are sheltered from this wind direction thankfully. Its fairly been whisking up the snow into massive drifts. The top picture is a drift that's formed at the horses gate and their water trough is buried in it. Walking the dogs felt like a good workout! We did have a laugh at struggling to get over one of the driveway drifts. The driveway is mainly drifts now. Glad we are all stocked up!
"A smile starts on the lips, a grin spreads to the eyes, a chuckle comes from the belly; but a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, overflows, and bubbles all around." — Carolyn Birmingham
