Keeping going

I think today is Lockdown day 327, or thereabouts. Still cold, icy and now quite dull so no sunset to liven things up.
Virtual catch up son #1 and L about Islay’s abscondment yesterday. She went on a deer (dead deer) hunt and her recall, not good at the best of times, completely disappeared. I gather she was eventually found by a park ranger and returned safe and sound. It must have the best fun she’s had for ages.
Day 25 in the Yoga Challenge and an optional introduction to solo practice. I opted for beginners crow, perhaps with regular and consistent practice I might get to the point where I can balance on one foot. The press ups should help – a lot seems to depend on upper arm strength. I have decided that when the 30 days are up and will start the challenge all over again, I really can’t see myself having the motivation to find something suitable everyday and to keep at for half an hour or so. That should bring me to March 20th, when perhaps we can meet more than one person out of doors.
The blip is the outdoor cyclamen which has survived the sub zero temperatures over the past few days. I’m hoping the lingering snow might provide it with some protection. The indoor one is also still alive and has five rather feeble flowers.
