Skaters anno 2021

The little canal next to my home is all covered with ice and today some children used it as their ice-rink. 

When my kids lived here with me, there were much more children out on the ice, than I spotted today... it's been awhile that Winter treated us with snow and ice, so perhaps less families have skates and sledges stored in their homes than in older times, on the other hand it may just have been in my neighborhood that less children were out on the ice.
