Panther Stand-Off

A pretty relaxed Saturday! Brian was at work this morning and I just pottered about at home. After he was back we had lunch and put a load of laundry onto the driers, then took a trip to Morrisons for a few essentials and some not-quite-essentials (Alcohol, sweets...) I got some custom-made pizzas for tea for Zeph and I. At least they had not hiked the price of those - even the heart shaped ones! 

There is another black cat that visits our garden these days. Brian saw him on our doormat one day and thought Minstrel had got out until he noticed the collar. He is bigger than Minstrel though, not as glossy and black (probably due to being able to go outdoors) and a different shaped face.  Photo taken through the mucky back window!

They noticed each other for the first time today and it was claws at noon! I don't know if Minstrel would be so bold if the glass wasn't there - he probably would, as he can be quite a feisty character. I was probably showing him up by talking to  him, stroking him and taking photos while he was trying to act like a hard-case!

We will have a little tipple and probably watch a film tonight!
