Sooo sweet...

I had a walk around the res today & filled up the feeders. It was bitterly cold in the strong wind & very icy on the top side of the reservoir...thank goodness for those boot grip things for ice which means I walk worry free of slipping. 
On one side of the res there was some 'musical ice.' Because it was windy, there were waves & near the edge, the waves were making the ice 'sing' as the lapped the sides. 

One the bottom side of the res, there is a little section of woodland just over & somebody had put lots of bird food out on said ice. I had a great half an hour watched a flock of long tailed tits skating around as they fed. So they get my blip & there's an ice skater in the extras.
