Man of Action!

My Dear Princess, Loulou and Fellows,

This is G-Man, crossing the finish line of his triathlon. And he WON!

Well. In his age group. But he was still 15th overall. That is pretty amazing, says man who spends his life with arse glued to couch.

After finishing, he had to sit in the shade for a while, then filled up on sweets and doughnuts. You could practically hear the carbs and sugar banging against his insides.

And then, as an EXTRA reward, he got to meet Boots the duckling!

Actually, we meant to visit Loulou and Tiger just for an hour or so but ended up staying there for about 4 hours, chatting. The usual nonsense. I think we are getting closer to finally just agreeing we are going to live together in a commune in our old age. Maybe G-Man and OrkneyCaro will be in on it as well now. We also talked a lot about poo. A LOT.

"You should start up a podcast about it," suggested Loulou. "A poocast! Oh my god!"

She even looked up if anyone else was doing this already. "Just two people," she told me. "And one of them gave up after two episodes."

Friends, I am seriously considering it. And I would expect you all to contribute your best poo stories.

I have to admit, I was spoiled for blips for today. The morning out in Paekakariki was beautiful, just a lovely summer's day. And it was right by the tram museum, so I also took pictures of Wellington's old trams going by (now they just take people to the beach). And THEN of course, lots of adorable ducky pictures. Boots constantly chases Loulou around now. And when she catches her, sits between Loulou's feet, happy that she is safe, and with her mummy.

Oh, and I got pooed on again.

But I thought I had to honour G-Man's achievement for the day and he takes pride of place. You'll have to look at the extras for the rest of it.
