A different doe

She is just standing there, not doing anything exciting, but I think this doe looks very alert and her coloring is different, so she gets to be the blip star today.

No sighting at the horned owl nest today. Although I walked around the base of the very tall tree, gazing upward, I wasn't rewarded with a glimpse of her ear tufts or anything else. Last night I spoke with a friend who walks his dog in the park, and he reported that he had seen it yesterday through his binoculars. He walked all the way around the tree, and she followed him with her eyes. I so hope we get to see a few little owlets!
