As in dead as a .....  How is it that car batteries just die.  Just like that.  No warning.  They die.

Completely threw our morning plans into disarray - meant we couldn't go to the annual Rhododendron Society Cuttings/workshop meeting.

Thankfully, the lovely RAA people came out and rescued us - quite a few dollars and a new battery later we were on the road.  In theory at any rate.   Much too late to go to our workshop.

Got lots of other things done instead.
