Lonely tree

I spotted this tree a month or two back while driving to work. I needed to wait for a few days of dry weather, as to get to it I needed to park in a track to a cowshed (which gets muddy), and go through a verge and hedge on the other side of the road (also muddy). Not the best choice for something to do on the way to work...

Regardless, I decided to give it a go this morning - and thankfully stayed pretty mud free. Not 100% sure it was worth it, but I think there is potential here for later in the year with the tree out in leaf. You may be seeing this tree again :-)
